This World Needs More
In Home Care "Givers"!!

Imagine a world without in home care "givers" and very little help with the care for elderly parents and other relatives.

The question here is....

Without quality senior home care, our elderly parents cannot stay in their homes, when this is where they want to be.

Without quality care during their twilight years, can you just imagine the burden that you carry to their grave?

BUT how can a devoted son or daughter provide in home care without their own life deteriorating?

How can a devoted child find a good quality senior home caregiver?

Six years ago I was facing the same dilemma that many of you are facing today.

When the need arose, I was full of questions about elder care and no idea where to get my many questions answered concerning care for our mother.

Now that I am here with mom, providing in home care, I often wished I had a real-live senior home care person, who had been there and done that, who could guide me along this journey.

Within CaregivingEssentials.com, my passion is to provide answers to your questions on elder care for the aging.

I am a full time in home caregiver for my soon to be 92 year old mother through a local home care provider.

I have developed this website to provide you with FREE information and resources whether you are a....

  • Son, providing help for an aging parent
  • Daughter who is caring for elderly parentsGrandchild or friend who is providing
    elder care

Fortunately, through lots of hard work and lots of help I am able to provide my aging mother with quality care as a live in caregiver. Now I want to pass on what I have learned, to help YOU build a solid foundation beneath your caregiving days providing warmth and love for your aging relative's last years.

I am here to provide you with guidance and support to help you be the best provider for your aging relative, whether you are just lending a hand for an elderly parent or you are living with your parent or vise versa providing in home care.

Always seek the advice from your family physician when a medical question arises.

If you are relatively comfortable with the elder care terminology, I will be adding valuable resources for senior home care in the near future.

    Because I really, really believe....

The World Needs More In Home Care...givers!

    Be One!!!

A letter my mom just gave me and I want to pass it on to YOU!
It made me cry, as I have often forgot all that mom has done for me.

    TO MY CHILDREN
When I spill some food on my nice clean dress Or maybe forget to tie my shoes, Please be patient and perhaps reminisce About the many hours I spent with you. When I taught you how to eat with care, Plus tying laces and your numbers, too, Dressing yourself and combing your hair, Those were precious hours I spent with you. So when I forget what I was about to say, Just give me a minute - or maybe two. It probably wasn't important anyway, And I would much rather listen just to you. If I tell the story one more time, And you know the ending through and through. Please remember your first nursery rhyme When I rehearsed it a hundred times with you. When my legs are tired and it's hard to stand Or walk the steady pace that I would like to do, Please take me carefully by my hand, And guide me now as I so often did for you.
    Love, MOM
