Donna Harris Shares How Caring For Her 91 Year Old Mother Changed Her Life...

Here is the story behind
Donna's Caregiving Secrets

Here is Donna Harris, a 61 year old woman with 4 grandchildren caring for her elderly parent.

Donna is one of the many adult children, out of necessity, where role reversal was not an option because her mother could no longer live alone.

Why would you contact Donna Harris?

Donna raised her three children from their preteen years all alone.

After several years of financial struggle she decided to move back to her hometown of Troy, Ohio where most of her immediate family resided.

Once her children were on their own, Donna thought she would be able to start focusing upon herself

BUT...

In 2003, Donna Harris started caring for her 91 year old mother.

Her mom had a bloodclot and came close to having a stroke.

The doctor told the family their mom could no longer live alone.

Someone had to be there!

Donna Harris moved in with her mother temporarily 2 months earlier and 6 years later, well, you guessed it, she's still there.

Someone had to step in and take over as the primary caregiver and with Donna already there, it was not a surprise that she was the one who would take on this role.

There are many adult children reversing their roles today, it is the sandwich generation and there are many taking care of the elderly parents where they have to put their own life on hold. Their whole life has been affected, their children's and their grandchildren's.

Many still have children at home, a spouse, a full-time job or career. It affects every area of their life.

Role reversal, Donna is a person who has been there and done that. She knows what and how you are feeling.

She has specific knowledge from REAL life experiences and supports useful information on elderly home care on this website.

Years earlier Donna decided to start a home business to help bring in more income to her household.

In 2008, as Donna Harris continues to care for her mom, she's also helping others...

Whether it is a home business they already own, teaching others how to build a website on personal experience, network marketing, direct sales or internet marketing, while at the same time continuing to build and develop other streams of income to prepare for her own future, she can still care for her mom.

Her passion is to help other caregivers see that they can combine caregiving and a home business like Send Out Cards. Not only does it help financially, but the friends Donna has made along the way has been incredible and made caring for her mom a little easier.

“I am a full-time caregiver for my mom and I can work my home business at the same time knowing that we are both being taken care of. What a good feeling!

When I first started NWM I was very excited and did everything I was told to do, but with little success.

I learned by skinning my knees, a lot.

I found out what worked and what didn’t work.

Now I can help others avoid the pitfalls I made!”

I AM ME!!

In all the world, there is no one else exactly like me-Everything that comes out of me is authentically mine, because I alone choose it-I own everything about me---my body, my feelings, my mouth, my voice and all of my actionsWhether they be to others or to myself--I own my fantasies, my dreams, my hopes, my fears -I own all my triumphs and success, all my failures and mistakes. Because I own all of me, I can become intimately acquainted with me- By so doing I can love me and be friendly with me in all my parts-

I know there are aspects about myself that puzzle me, and other aspects that I do not know -

But as long as I am friendly and loving to myself, I can courageously and hopefully look for solutions to the puzzles and for ways to find out more about me -However I look and sound, whatever I say and do, and whatever I think and feel at a given moment in time is authentically me -If later some parts of how I looked, sounded, thought and felt turned out to be unfitting, I can discard that which I feel is unfitting, keep the rest, and invent something new for that which I discarded -I can see, hear, feel, think, say and do.I have the tools to survive, to be close to others, to be productive, and to make sense and order out of the world of people and things outside of me -I own me, and therefore I can engineer ME -

I am me and I AM OKAY!

"For I Know The Plans I Have For YOU!"

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you," declares the Lord, "and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you," declares the Lord, "and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile."

Jeremiah 29:11
